The 'Beautiful Stranger'-Video

The Last Stand' and several other video-clips, for example
Mariah Carey's 'Heartbreaker'. |

'Beautiful Stranger'
is featured on the soundtrack
of 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me'. Therefore
the video-clip is directly referring to the film by having
several characters from the film in it - most notable the
title-character Austin Powers who is played by Mike Myers.
Austin, a super-spy from the '60s, is on a secret mission
to capture Madonna's character who basically is a secret agent
herself. According to Austin's boss Basil Exposition, played
by Michael York who has a cameo in the video, Madonna was
responsible for the death of both 007 and 008. Both fell in
love with her. Can Austin resist her seductive power?
Do also look for another cameo by Dr. Evil's (another character
from the movie who is played by Mike Myers as well) little
clone Mini-Me who is seen dancing in the club.
Both the song and the video were extremely successful in 1999,
with the video even winning a MTV Video Music Award for 'Best
Video from a Motion Picture'.
The 'Beautiful Stranger'-Video is available on the
'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me' DVD (available
from Amazon.com)
or on Madonna's Video
Collection 93:99 DVD (also available from Amazon.com)
