Do you know
the 'Queen's English'?
This rarely heard track was first released
on a various artist-sampler called New
Faces in September 1993. Produced by long-time
Madonna remixer Junior Vasquez, it featured
Madonna's former Blond
Ambition World Tour-dancers Jose Guiterez
and Luis Camacho [probably best known for
wearing the cone-bras during their 'Like
A Virgin'-performance] - renamed to Jose
& Luis - on the vocals.
And most interesting to us: Madonna was heard
quite prominently on background vocals!
The single of 'Queen's English', featuring
several remixes of the track, was released
in September 1993. However not much was happening
on the charts and even less was heard of Jose
& Luis afterwards. They never worked with
/ for Madonna again. Still it's certainly
a fun-track to own in a collection! |
